I think there should be an 'Inspiring People' board. Members could then show why they care so much about someone or something.
I'm currently doing a project on 'Benjamin Zephaniah' one of the UK's leading poets and whom is dyslexic.
Have a think, J

I've been thinking about this a lot and I've come close to doing it several times. But each time I wonder whether we need a new forum for this.
For example, you mentioned Benjamin Zephaniah as an inspirational figure. Do we need a new board to discuss him or does any discussion about him belong in the existing Film, TV & Literature board?
The same goes with my own feelings about Warren Zevon. He was a singer/songwriter who was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer and set about writing and recording his final album. He called it - ironically, given his condition - The Wind, and wrote some incredibly moving lyrics. But my sense is that this belongs in the Music forum.
Don't get me wrong, I'm open and do like the idea, I just don't want to create new boards when the existing ones serve the purpose.
What do you think? Would having a board dedicated to Inspiring People encourage you to post things you wouldn't otherwise have posted in the existing boards?

Yes, I agree with you. I'd much rather have less, active boards than more, un-active boards.

I'd much rather have less, active boards than more, un-active boards. Yep, that's why I collapsed a number of boards in the Conspiracy forum into just two recently. Anyway, I am interested in your thoughts on Benjamin Zephaniah. Perhaps you could create a thread in the Flim, TV and Literature board and share them.
