The collapse of WTC-7 is said by many conspiracy theorists to be evidence the US government was somehow involved in the attacks of 9/11.
WTC-7 was a 47-story, steel-framed building located at the north end of the World Trade Center complex. The building was damaged by the collapse of the North Tower early in the morning and eventually collapsed at 5:21pm. As recently as 2006, a poll showed that over 40% of Americans didn't even know the building had collapsed.
The key question conspiracy theorists ask is: was WTC-7 brought down in a controlled demolition? If so, then it is strong evidence that 9/11 was an inside job, since it would take weeks to rig a building of that size for demolition.
