I just saw this the other day and it is a good film and very powerful. It's set in the 1980's so it was good to see some memorable things from when I grew up. The dodgy hair cuts and clothes, cola cubes and even a grifter bike makes an appearance After quite a funny start the film then grows more serious and shows issues that were apparent in the 80's like the falkland war and immigration which of course is still apparent today. However, the main storyline is looking at it from the perspective of the national front and skinheads. Its not a feel good movie thats for sure!

I'm an '80s child too. Very big into the Mod scene, which went through two mini-revivals between 1979 and 1985.
I haven't seen this film. When you say its from the perspective of the NF and skinheads, I assume you mean that it explored themes of violent racial discrimination?

Here is a 8 minute clip of the film. There is a lot of bad language so if your easily offended please don't click on it.

That looks like a very hard hitting film. Although it was only an 8-minute clip, it shows a film full of gritty realism, which is exactly the sort of thing I like. I'll definitely look out for it. I also suspect you'd like The Wire (Iposted about it here, including an external review), which deals with the interplay between the police and drug gangs in Baltimore. It too is gritty and has a very realistic 'feel'. Being a series, it's much slower but I think it's an extraordinary piece of television.
