If I ever came close to playing a musical instrument, it was the drums.
I have a rudimentary grasp of the fundamentals but aside form that, it's all pretty basic stuff. I've had an inflamatory condition for some time now, which has prevented me from playing. But I still love the sound of the drums.
Whenever I listen to music, I always listen out for the drumming. Whenever I watch a live performance, my eyes never leave the drummer.
I have watched a good number of drum solo clips both on YouTube and Drummerworld. Few are as astounding as this one, from a 12-year old lad named Tony Roystor Jr.
