Wow. Four minutes into added time and Riise nets an own goal. Advantage Chelsea. Predictions for the second leg? I'll go with 2-1 (3-2 agg) Chelsea. It'll be a more exciting game than previous encounters, that's for sure. Liverpool simply have to score. This'll make the game more open and I think Chelsea will pick Liverpool off on the break. Source and full article: BBCJohn Arne Riise's injury-time own goal gave Chelsea the advantage in the Champions League semi-final.
Dirk Kuyt's close-range finish three minutes before the interval looked to be giving Liverpool a slender lead.
And it took fine saves from Petr Cech to deny Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres as Liverpool threatened to put the tie out of Chelsea's reach.
But Riise headed in Salomon Kalou's cross four minutes into injury time to give Chelsea a priceless away goal.

I saw that own-goal. It's such a shame, although Steve, unless you watched it you wouldn't know that if he'd have left it Anelka would've finished it off. It was a bad suituation for a defender to be in.

I didn't see it, unfortunately - I caught it on the raido on the way home.
What's your view on tonight's game? Do you reckon United can keep Barca out without Vidic (assuming he's out that is)?

Chelsea beat Liverpool to set up an all-English CL final with Man Utd in Moscow.
What a great game we had tonight and hopefully, the final will be a real spectacle.
There's a real sense of destiny for both teams too. For Utd, it's exactly 50 years since the Munich air disaster and for Chelsea, a final in Moscow is a dream come true for Abromovich.
So, who's going to win?
