Aaaah the 'looking for' threads. Like marmite, you either loved them or hated them, but you cant deny they helped a lot of forum admins get their adverts out there and find new members that may not have seen their sites otherwise. Sadly, they are now gone...

"Since Proboards Support has decided to get rid of the looking for threads I've seen a lot of members totally crushed about this. Not only are they destroying one of the major reason's anyone even visits that site but they're also diminishing the amount of people that look at the advertising board. I've yet to have seen them keep up with the looking for threads, even after instating this rule. As far as I can tell, they're never going to be able to keep this up and until they put in some kind of board for those who do looking for threads they're never going to be able to get rid of any of them. Its just another useless attempt to put up another rule."
