We have a new translation service, which is located just under the menu buttons at top centre.
I have to admit, I've had a bit of fun playing around with it but whether it serves any long term practical purpose remains to be seen.
I have noticed a lot of visitors here lately and many are from non-English speaking countries (at least, according to their IP address). Some of these are likely to be search engine bots but others may well be real people who might benefit from being able to view this site in another language.
I've positioned it so it will be visible at all times - both here in the main menu and when viewing individual threads.
Let me know what you think?

I've had to remove this - hopefully temporarily. The service was unavailable today and N&CA was really slow to load as a result.
I'll put it back once the service resumes.

The service appears to have been restored, but I'll keep an eye on it.
If it proves to be troublesome, it'll be removed permanently.

Well, this has proven to be a horrible experiment. What should have been a really simple implementation has had the effect of making the forum horribly slow. Also, the service itself often fails to appear.
I'll try and work our what's wrong but for now, it's gone.
