I gotta agree, Jaws was just an awesome film. That said, I tried to watch Jaws 2 and thought it was soooo crap (in fact, I'm pretty sure I didn't bother watching it through to the end) I never got around to watching any of the others. Thinking about it now, I didn't even know there was a Jaws 4!

sir, jaws 4 is jaws the revenge and you HAVE to watch it, otherwise i will hunt you down and lick you coz i know how you feel about my tongue
just dont DONT watch jaws 3, its in 3d and... just dont do it, its makin me angry. jaws 2 i have to admit is a growwer, but i'm a shark nerd so i have no say in the matter at all. last night i watched all four films in order and realised i knee the scripts to them all by heart. i really need to get out more

Okay, I'll give 4 a go. I'll pass on 3 and my earlier rejection of 2 means I'm horribly prejudiced against it.
I might just watch 1 again too.
I was talking to a customer of mine who has been down in one of those cages in the waters around South Africa. He reckons the area is populated by Great Whites and that they come up to the cage cautiously at first, size it (and the person inside) up and then start nudging or even charging the cage. He described himself as being both exhilarated and shit-scared at the same time.
Sound like a great experience.

My little boy loves watching fish and generally all things that swim.
Over at Colchester Zoo, they have this walkway that's like a perspex 'tunnel' through the sealion enclosure. As you walk through it, you can see the sealions swimming around. They sometimes swim right up close to the 'tunnel' wall and then dart off into the distance. Others swim over your head and, because it's only around 8-10 feet tall, they 'feel' really close.
He loves watching that.

i took my ex to the sealife center in blackpool and made her hold a starfish that only had 3 whatsits, then i told her that the other two probable came off in a fight and they'd grow back. she then threw the thing at me. "animal cruelty" i yelled, she listened not and called me a nerd
