The first version of what will be an ongoing project to provide a menu-driven link to a wide range of newsprint media titles from around the world has been launched. Whether you actually make use of this or not, it doesn't matter. Check it out anyway because it's ultra-cool. Visit the News board and play around. Select the country from the list in the left box and a list of titles will appear in the right box. Now scroll down the page. The menu will follow you. Since we already have a header full of RSS feeds in the News board, this was the only way of incorporating the new feature. I think it's great but let me know if you don't like it.

Okay, after the luke-warm reception this menu received yesterday, I've made a couple of changes. First it doesn't lock. When you scroll down the screen, the menu will disappear off the top. Second, you can re-position it - just click on the orange bar across the top, hold and drag. Third, you can now close it by clicking on the . Fourth, titles from China have now been added. More will follow, though I won't announce them.
