I thought this was a really good game and pretty much lived up to the hype.

It had a bit of everything - Ronaldo scored his obligatory goal; Tevez missed two sitters; Lampard scored a emotional equaliser; Drogba and Lampard both hit the woodwork; Drogba got sent off; Giggs broke Sir Bobby Charlton's record for appearances for Man Utd; Ronaldo missed a penalty in the shoot-out; and finally, Terry and then Anelka missed penalties for Chelsea, handing the European Cup to Utd in the 50th anniversary year of the Munich air disaster.

Great game; great drama.

What now for Grant? And just how much money does Abramovich need to part with to buy this trophy?

Manchester United became kings of Europe for the third time on a night of high drama and emotion in Moscow.

Goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar was the hero with a penalty save to deny Nicolas Anelka after Chelsea captain John Terry had missed the chance to win the Blues the trophy by firing his own spot-kick hit the post.

The dramatic shootout looked to be going Chelsea's way after Petr Cech saved Cristiano Ronaldo's effort but Terry's miss opened the door for Sir Alex Ferguson to clinch his second Champions League crown.

slept right through it, had the tv on but i was so damn tired last night that i fell asleep mid-sentence. i woke up just in time to see big fat frank hit the bar, made me laugh, then i fell asleep mid chortle

I'd like to have Chelsea win it if only for Lampard. I know he's a bit lardy and has been crap for England, but I felt he deserved a bit of a break. I was really pleased for him when he scored and I did think their performance in the second half was fantastic.

I feel sorry for Terry. I would've hated that much pressure and then when you've missed. Ouch.
