We have a new gadget in the Music board to play with.
It's essentially a portal to a large library - 3,000,000 tracks is the claim - of freely available music on the web. You can't download and save any of the tracks, but you can search for your favourite artists and, assuming there are tracks by that artist in the public domain, listen to their music for free.
It also has a video search function too.
