Should Dwain Chambers be permitted to represent Great Britain at the next Olymipcs following his ban in 2004 for taking performance enhancing drugs? Source and full article: BBCDwain Chambers could launch his appeal against an Olympic ban this week after his first 100m race since 2006.
The 30-year-old, who served a two-year drugs suspension, competes in Greece on Wednesday with a view to qualifying for July's British Olympic trials.
If succeeds, he may launch a High Court action against the British Olympic Association as soon as possible.
"I have to do this - I can't afford to wait," Chambers told the sports website Inside the Games.
"I've got to fight for what I believe in. This is what I'm good at, it's what I do. I've got a lot of support. I've had nothing but encouragement from the public."
Under BOA rules, athletes found guilty of drugs offences cannot represent GB at the Olympics.
