Now I knew the average American was getting fed up with the Bush administration. What I didn't realise, largely because this sort of thing never makes the news in any meaningful way, is that so many resolutions had been introduced supporting the impeachment of both Bush and Cheney.
Here, for example, is a list of statewide political parties who have not only introduced but actually passed (as indicated by the "[ + ]" sign) such a bill.
More lists can be found at the rather curiously named After Downing Street, including a list of 25 co-sponsors of U.S. House of Representatives' H. Res. 333 - A Bill Impeaching Richard B. Cheney, Vice President of the United States, for high crimes and misdemeanors.
