Following a change of personal circumstances, I needed to get a personal mobile. On Friday I picked up an iPhone 3G - the 8Gb version (all the bloody 16Gbs were sold out by 8:30am!).
I've got to say, I think it's a remarkable piece of kit. Anyone else get one/planning on getting one?

They're pretty cool to play with when you first get them (I stole my friends' one for around an hour )

They're free with some tariffs. I got an 18 month contract at £45 per month, which includes 1,200 minutes and 500 texts.
It really is slick and what I like about it most of all is that it's really intuitive. It doesn't come with much of a handbook and the reason why is simple - it doesn't need one. It's easy to work out how to use all of the features and functions. The only time I had to look for something was when I couldn't see how to get the SIM card into the device.
